These new California laws went into effect on Jan. 1

A slew of new laws signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in the fall are set to take effect in the new year.

I've seen two phone fires since they came out. Zero scooter or bikes. One tesla on the side of the road burning. Thats about it.
