If she did, she was quoting someone. The "patriotism" statement goes way back to Samuel Johnson (1709-84).

Didn't mean to overreact, it's just that some people's grasp of history stops at the year they were born. Being a long-time student of history (it's a blessing and a curse), I feel the need to correct these things for some reason. Heh... it's the INTJ in me I guess.
