Glad the info is out. But why does dershowitz seem to defend Trump? Did he flip to the white hats to lessen his punishment?

perhaps he was hoping to hook his wagon to Trump so when he went down he could take Trump down with him. I can see it being reflected on Trump in the media as "Trump supporter", "Trump defender" or "Trump's friend"
