1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Acts 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,
For Acts you may substitute the word "Bibles" in the place of "temples" God is Love. The Spirit of God is a Holy Spirit of Love. 1 Corinthians 13 Love. The point being is that you, Callmejuls, are not God and are not exhibiting a Christ spirit of Love according to the written word of God. The written word is for you to learn and discern and hold in Your Heart, it is not for You to use as a tool of judgement.
Luke 6:42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Christ dwells within us, written in our very DNA, that allows us to intercede and communicate with God. Judgement and vengeance is for God. Jesus was sent as the example of walking the talk. You have been instructed on the fruits of the Spirit according to Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. If your postings are divisive and judgmental out of hand, while insisting you are "following God's Word" you can see why there is push back.
Consider whether your post is in sync with the Fruits of the Spirit before hitting that SAVE button is all. Do not become a "resounding gong". Not cool.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
If you are referring to either this post or my comments in it, we are told in;
Matthew 18:15-18 A Brother Who Sins
(Deuteronomy 19:15–21)
15If your brother sins against you,c go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’d 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
18Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Ezekiel 3:16-21 A Watchman for Israel
16At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.
18If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity,c and I will hold you responsible for his blood. 19But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself.
20Now if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die in his sin,d and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. And I will hold you responsible for his blood. 21But if you warn the righteous man not to sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he heeded your warning, and you will have saved yourself.”
So then, if I do not confront a sinful brother, I am not acting in love if I allow him to die in sin without first attempting to reach him and save him.
Please point me to where I have been displaying judgement without merit or not displaying the Holy Spirit’s love so that I can work on it and do better because all I want everyone to see is Jesus when they see me. I don’t want eyes on me but on God. What did I say that was divisive? I will work in it.
So Jesus said..John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
If you are trying to follow Jesus' example, pointing out sin is not the way. If you do not want eyes on you, but on God, then you need to keep Your eyes on God.
I can not and will not point out anything I may think you display. I will not judge you. There is no such thing as "judgement without merit". You are not God. You do not get to determine what does or does not have Merit in the eyes of God.
The minute you start "pointing at specks" in the eyes of your brother, you are not acting in Christ (Love) Pointing out everyone's "sins" as you say, is what the Pharisees of the Old Testament would do. This is what Jesus SAVED the world from. It is not your Duty to remove specks. It is your Calling in Christ to LOVE and from that LOVE Everything is made perfect in Christ Jesus who is LOVE.
I am not saying "don't have an opinion". That is your right as a Human to have your own opinion. What I am trying to convey, is that the Love of God passeth all understanding. BE LOVE. No judgement. You are not Wrong or RIGHT. You ARE. God IS that I AM. There is no need for anything else.
This is coming from a place of gentle reminding. Matthew 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. We are told (Matthew 6:33) to seek God's kingdom and his righteousness first, and we will want for nothing. Do not worry, all will work out for Good. And where might we find this "Kingdom of God" Jesus told the Pharisees in Luke 17:21 the kingdom of God is within you. It is not in the bible or a church nor does it require merit in works or opinions. It is within each of us. We just need to "seek it First and in all things". God IS Love The Kingdom of Love is within US.
So in closing, God/Love is within you. Keep your focus there and seek that Kingdom within you. Love does not need you pointing out where it is not resonating. God/Love has that one figured out already. You seek the kingdom of God and all will know you are Jesus' disciple by your Love. John 13:35
1 Corinthians 6:2,3 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3) Don’t you realize that we will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disputes in this life.
I just shared the verses with you that directly tell us that if we see sin amd do not poi t it out, we will condemn bith them and ourselves. Love is one if the many attributes of God and we are to disay all of them.
Love IS God. Anything else is less than the fullness of God. The reason we are to not judge is that judgement of itself is less than Love, it resonantes at the same frequency as sin and hence why all you see when ypu judge is "the sin".
Beloved, let us Love one another. For Love is of God and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that Loveth not, knoweth not Gof for God is Love. Beloved, let us love one another 1 John 4:7-8
And these three remain, Faith. Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
Until you master Love, you do not know God. Hence seek the kingdom of God within. I will choose Love. You can choose judgement. I pray you measure up to your own.
