I think it was 1976 when I went to my chickenpox party. Vaguely remember my dad telling my mom, " does the kid have any open sores, because open sores are good, otherwise we might have to send him to another party next year".

Lol, how far we have progressed.

BTW, I did get chickpox from that party and healed up just fine.
