THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD

How do we enter into His presence? How do we feel the manifest presence of God?

I am going to share a few suggestions on how to enter into the presence of God and describe His manifest presence because I heard in my spirit, there are some who do not know how to do this yet. You do not need to follow my suggestions, you may have your own personal way of entering into Father's presence but for those who do not know how to yet, these suggestions will help you ready yourself to enter into His presence and feel the manifestations of Holy Spirit.

It is an abiding in Him.

FIND A QUIET PLACE

Find a quiet place somewhere in your home, a prayer room, your bedroom, the living room, the porch, back yard, forest, wherever you can chat and be with your heavenly Father without being disturbed. I use my living room, bedroom and backyard.

HAVE WHAT YOU NEED

Have what you need before you start. I have my bible ready, a note pad to jot down my thoughts and what I hear from Holy Spirit, a pen, a comfy chair and the quiet. What do you feel you need? You may want to play worship music. Have a fan blowing on you if hot. Dim the lights. Close the blinds. Make your quiet place cosy and personal. Depending where your quiet place is, will depend on what you need to have ready for use.

TAKE AUTHORITY

Before I wait on Holy Spirit to hear Father's voice, I always take authority over every demonic spirit and power to ensure, my time with Him is not disturbed, distracted or blocked in any way. If you are not sure how to do this, use my prayer.

“In the name of Jesus, I take authority over every demonic spirit and power and bind you! You are bound from hindering, distracting or intruding in anyway whatsoever! In Jesus name!

I thank You Father for Your holy angels who are here with me to ensure my time with You is not disturbed in anyway whatsoever. In Jesus name. Amen”

QUIETEN YOUR MIND

Now, quieten your mind by giving any concerns or worries you may have, any negative emotions that would hinder your hearing Holy Spirit, to the Father. Get them out of the way so your mind is quiet and at peace, not all jumbled with different thoughts or emotions. If you find this hard to do, that's okay. Once you start pressing into Father's presence, those things will start to fall. I just find it better to start with a mind that is clear of the things of this world. We cast our cares to Him because He cares for us! (1 Peter 5:7)

SPEAK TO HOLY SPIRIT

Tell Holy Spirit He is welcome to have His way in and through you. Tell Him you want Him to speak so you hear the Father's heart, you want to feel His manifest presence. To come and make Himself known to you personally as you wait upon our Lord and enter into His presence. This gives Him the permission and freedom to move. I suggest to pray in the Spirit for at least 10 minutes. (Heavenly language)

WORSHIP, PRAISE AND GIVE THANKSGIVING TO HIM

Sit, lie down, worship Him softly in whatever way works for you, with or without worship music. Sing softly His praises. Tell Father Who He is in worship. Love on Him however way you want. This is your personal time to worship the Most High God! To let Him know how much you love Him and what He means to you. Give thanksgiving. Praise Him. Lift your hands. Lifting your hands is a sign of surrendering and worship unto our Lord. Focus on Him. No distractions. Let your mind dwell on His goodness as you worship Him. Pray in the Spirit again. Praise Him. Father is enthroned upon our praise! You can dance, use flags, whatever way that moves you to worship Him. I will add verses at the bottom of this post to help you learn how to worship, praise and give thanks to Him.

HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE

You are in His presence. If you have done the suggestions, you are in the presence of God whether you are feeling His presence or not. For some of you, you may already be feeling the manifest presence of Holy Spirit who lives within you, especially those who have learnt to wait upon God and do so often. You may be feeling a peace that gently came over your heart and mind, you may be feeling a warmth as it envelops your body, as if the room you are sitting in has a heater turned on. Raise your hands... do you feel a heat in the palm of your hands? Some can feel this, especially those with the gift of healing. Has the air become cleaner somehow? Fresher? You may be feeling lighter, as if a burden has been lifted. A burden you may have been carrying in your body without you realizing it. For some, when the presence is strong, you gently start weeping as Holy Spirit moves you. You can even feel drunk in the Spirit, an overflow of Him.

These are all beautiful manifestations of Holy Spirit. Some may suddenly become aware of the holy angels that are there. Visions may be given to you. You may feel Holy Spirit's moods. You have entered into the heavenly realm! In the powerful presence of God and when we do this each day, the more we are changed from the inside out! We are change by the One whom we are spending time with! Hallelujah!

STAY IN HIS PRESENCE

To maintain His presence as you wait to hear from Holy Spirit, softly keep worshiping Him. Tell Father how much you love Him. Hum to the worship music playing, focusing on Jesus. Sit quietly and wait upon Him. Holy Spirit will start speaking. His words come as soft thoughts. A verse may come to mind, the lyric of a song, a person's name, that is Him speaking to you. Write down what you hear. And wait on Him again. The more hungry you are, the more you will be fed. Father always feeds the hungry!

As you learn how to enter into the presence of God, it will come more naturally and quicker each time. You will be able to do this no matter where you are. It is special. It is beautiful. It is water for those who are thirsty. It is the clean air we need from living in a polluted world. It is your personal time with the Father. It is a mountain top experience! Amen!

Continual daily waiting on Him will change the atmosphere in your home, it will change you and you will carry His presence wherever you go! Amen!
