I would argue not. Carbs and sugars have existed in the past. Check out Jay Feldman's energy wellness podcast. Or some recent interviews with Dr Mercola. If your blood sugar spikes, is that really so serious? You can't rid the body of plastics. They build up. Plastics, emfs and vaccines are sterilizing our population. Plus a diet heavy in seed oils.
Those are both nutrients most of the alive things we care to list off have been surviving off of for 100's millions of years.
Sugar WAS still unhealthy BUT not a problem. Only FAT kings, usually. He was rich enough for the finer things in life.
Today its a PROBLEM. Its too cheap! Anyone living here and healthy can EASILY get fat if they actually went and gave an honest attempt.
In a pop bottle theres an actually small amount of plastic (thin walled). I bet the concentration of plastic residue is in the ppm scale. Even proper toxins need more than that to begin damage. Its the SAME problem with MOST disposeable containers, its a relativly weak acid it'll chip at what it can. Compared to 60g extra sugar for no reason, yeah thats worse.
