“Why are boomers like this” - it’s called critical thinking, polls shouldn’t require a name from the person taking the poll. If they’re trying to verify an identity the poll is already skewed.

that is a coherent thought, yes. another one is to voice that opinion to someone who can perceive it. a poll by a patriotic organization would give the exact same result if it used the same tech.
