Talk to your daughter about what she is viewing when she watches CNN. You’re not going to be able to shield her from the world, so it’s best to have conversations about what she sees. If and/or when she views things that are objectionable, you need to first contact the teacher, have a conference about why the content was objectionable. Send a follow up email and CC the principal as well. If it continues to happen, escalate up the chain. Always have a valid reason for your objections- not just that CNN is fake news, we know it is but you have to show them.
