Kate Middleton admitted to clinic for 'planned abdominal surgery'
Kate Middleton , 42, was admitted to The London Clinic in Marylebone yesterday for the planned procedure and is expected to remain in hospital for ten to 14 days. It is understood not to be cancerous.
Gee...my abdominal surgery got me kicked out the same day? 10-14 days???
Could be a ruptured ectopic pregnancy or a ruptured appendix. Both will keep someone down for quite a while due to the danger of bleeding and sepsis.
Catherine is married to Prince William and has been exemplary the whole time. If there's any hope for the cultural cornerstone that is the British monarchy, it's William and Catherine.
Brit culture is under serious attack right now and I sure hope somebody didn't get to Catherine the way I think they got to Melania not long after Trump became POTUS.
Ruptured ectopic pregnancy or appendix are emergency surgeries. The article specifically says it is a planned procedure. So could be cholecystectomy, tubal ligation, hysterectomy, salpingectomy, colostomy, gastric bypass, tummy tuck, etc.
Yes, they are; but hospitals often stretch the definition of "planned procedure." That could mean anything they had a few hours' notice for. It's hard to say.
