That’s the case now. My son married an Italian women, they moved back to the US and in order for her to get a green card and citizenship she was required to get a Covid vax. They spent a small fortune fighting it. Appeal after appeal. They moved back to Italy after two years. Did I mention she was pregnant. Should have went to Mexico and walked across boarder.
I'm in a similar situation. I'm living abroad, wanted to move back to the states, so I started applying three years ago thinking the pandemic craziness would be over by the time we actually got the immigration visa for my wife.
If there was no mandate, my wife an I would have moved back to the states nearly a year ago, but we've been blocked while tourists and millions illegal immigrants are allowed to go and come as they please with no requirement.
It's now public knowledge that 1 in 800 shots has a chance of serious injury and death, so it's the official policy of the US government to murder and maim legal immigrants (including relative of US citizens) applying to this country!!???
Before May 12th, 2023 if you didn't have the vaxx you were inadmissible and your application would be thrown out with no chance of appeal. After May 12th, the government completely removed the mandates for non-immigrants (tourists, students, work visas), but they kept the mandates in place for green card applicants.
If you want to appeal you have to have a religious reason to not take ANY vaccine. That means that most people who have had other vaccines are shit out of luck and are FORCED to either abandon their applicant and be separated from their families, or roll the dice on a religious exemption which can still be rejected depending on how the officer reading it feels.
On Nov 29, 2023 the CDC has even DOUBLED DOWN to say that for a dose to count, it needs to have been taken with in the last year. Meaning that for any applicants that already had the jab will be required to get a booster to qualify.
This is a completely arbitrary, unjustified and rises to the level of cruel and unusual.
The government can't even keep their lies straight. While they're backpedaling and saying, "we never forced anyone to get the vaxx", they are STILL FORCING people to get the vaxx.
They are knowingly, knowingly, knowingly, doing this. No immunity, no excuses. The colt shot shouldn't be available much less required.
