In a trade war with Mexico, U.S. agriculture and biotech industries, with corporatocracy backing, have insisted that GMO crops are safe and, therefore, Mexico must buy them under the terms of the USMCA (United States, Mexico, and Canada) agreement.
Still a bit of a thorn in Trump's heel, IMO. The guy's not perfect and non-cult-minded people will be happy to point out his shortcomings while still supporting the broader messages and work he's done to return "greatness" to America. I made a similar comment earlier about what it means to truly "MAGA"; cleaning up our food supply will go a LONG way. Until we address this, and kick companies like Monsanto and their lobbyists to the curb (and preferably into a prison cell for intentionally poisoning the population for profit), we will never truly be as great as we could be.
Well said fren. While I support bodily sovereignty and everyone's right to put what they want into their bodies, I have a strong belief that God wants us to treat our bodies like temples, and a bit surprised that this nutritional component hasn't as of yet played a larger role in the great awakening.
Thanks, Fren. And while I'm not going to sit here and pretend I make all the right decisions on what I put into my body, I'm at least intentional about knowing what I'm doing and having the free will to do so. It's all the stuff out of our control which is pervasive and infects every aspect of our lives, such glyphosate contamination in our soil and water. We can try our best to "eat clean", but these unaccountable companies playing games with our health and our lives need to be brought to task.
Outstanding! Really thoughtful comment. It appears to me that if Mexico wins (and thereby confirms what many on this board and elsewhere have said for a long time) it will destroy any pretense of legitimacy for AG/Pharma and for HHS and FDA and subordinate agencies. this really does have hte potential to turn everything around.
We can hope, my Fren! Keeping my fingers crossed and my eyes to the sky!
Just like bankers stripping away the greatness of our dollar over the decades within our financial system, corporatists have stripped all the greatness out of our soil, leaving empty dirt without much nutrient value. Our farmlands produce essentially hollow crops; a nutritive fragment of what they once were.

I agree.
