I followed a guy about 10 years ago who was on a very nice streak of calling the Superbowl results each year, purely based on his interpretation of the occult symbolism present in each one - everything from the teams and players involved to the half time show, the location, the position of the Silver Gate (stars) etc. There was usually a sacrifice involved too - if I remember correctly Robin Williams was one of those.

Additionally, the NFL is self-admittedly NOT a sport, but instead is classed as an ENTERTAINMENT company. This means they can do whatever the heck they want to, and at the end of the day, it's all basically fair game anyhow because it's for entertainment not true sport.

Soap box stuff like this helps ratings, pure and simple. It's just amazing they haven't gone full on WWF yet.
