Trump is not power hungry. He knows that he wouldn't be able to pull three terms.

The US corporation was ended and Trump served his first term as the last president.

The US Republic elected trump in 2020 while Biden was inaugurated to the corporation.

Even if the corporation and Republic aren't running simultaneously Trump has the ability to serve an extended term under the war power act.
