I remember an old cliche from movies about hunters and explorers in Africa a long time ago, when they would hear war drums in the distance... "The natives are restless tonight."
Well, NYC and other big cities should realize, the natives ARE restless and the Deep Thinkers in government should take serious notice of that fact. Their gated communities will not protect them when the natives finally decide to do something about their frustrations.
As for me, I plan on popping a lot of popcorn and watching it all unfold on TV, at a safe distance here in east Tennessee.
Heh, I remember seeing that cliche used in many period movies back in the day. It was SUCH a cliche that even old TV comedy shows used it from time to time. I think maybe even an old Bing Crosby and Bob Hope used in one of their "road" movies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_to_...

Wasn't that a line from the movie "Zulu"?
