He actively talks about what limits there should be on speech; but then says there should be no limits. He is testing the waters on how much we will tolerate.
I think the Elite have lays of what they will do. Sort of moving chains down the field in a foot ball game. How much ground can they take. Vaccine passports for shopping is a no go now. Now they are testing just how much freedom they can take from us in this round before they do another big push in a few more years.
I don't expect Elon to be a saint or to be omniscient.
He's a man like any of us, and while he does have influence due to his money, he shows no signs of seeking political power to enforce his will.
I give him credit when he hits a home run, and I'm just as willing to criticize him when he strikes out. But he appears to be growing as a person over time - he's on the same journey all of us are, it's just a question of how far along on the path he is.
I admire that he's willing to say what he thinks and to reconsider his opinion when challenged. He could stay out of public discussions and he could not have used his money to advance free speech, or work towards humanity expanding into space. Maybe he's not perfect, but as far as billionaires go, he's not bad.
I am not sure about Elon. I watch him talk and feel he is sincere but it is tough. I do think anyone can be brainwashed. Elon is just a guy. That being said only time will tell his intentions. Climate change is so deeply ingrained in our teaching. I am in a red state and it's all in the public schools here. I think a lot of the elite actually do believe it themselves.
They all come off as sincere or did. Real liberals have a hard time pulling away because of this. Especially when it looks like they are doing good things. I think we all have fallen for some scam from the elites at some point. (It is all a scam!)
What if... the entire twitter buyout and de-censoring was their excuse to get people on there and talking because they literally have no clue what is coming their way and they want this AI-integrated social media platform to help them figure it out? just a kookie idea
