A family member had a recent mammogram and told me it’s the first time they asked her “ have you had any recent vaccines?”. She questioned the question and was told that they need that info because there may be “false positive” issues regarding the lymph nodes if you had a recent vaccine. But not to worry, they would still treat the “false positive” seriously.
UCLA actually asked me what my end of life requests were at a routine physical. First time they ever asked that in 2023. Of course I asked, “are more people dying or something”? The nurse looked horrified.
