I received an email from Brio Medical, an integrative oncology center in Scottsdale, AZ. There is a bill being considered in the AZ house that will severely limit the people’s healthcare options.
“Dear Friends and Patients of Brio-Medical,
In a recent and unexpected development, the health choices and freedom that we cherish in Arizona are at risk due to a new piece of legislation, HB2739.
This bill, introduced by Representative Laurin Hendrix, seeks to dissolve the Homeopathic Board, which could drastically restrict access to integrative and natural medicines throughout our state.
A Message From Dr. Goodyear:
The power of choice in healthcare is one of Arizona's most treasured principles. HB2739 is more than just a bill; it's a barrier to the freedom we’ve always upheld in choosing integrative and homeopathic treatment options.
These practices are not just alternatives; they are essential options that have supported the wellness journeys of many.
This isn’t just about health but our right to choose.
Stand with us on Feb 14 to protect our diverse healing community. Your action can keep the spirit of health choice alive in Arizona.
Urgent Call to Action:
The fate of this bill will be decided tomorrow, Wednesday, February 14, at 2 pm during the Committee of Regulatory Affairs meeting.
Time is critical, and we must unite to make our collective voices heard in opposition to HB2739.

mcgarr looks good to go, he's part of these guys- https://twitter.com/AZFreedomCaucus
and here's a tiktok (ugh i know) from an MD. goes into how this was sprung on everybody and it will kill alternative medicine in az. smells like big pharma. https://www.tiktok.com/@drthomaslodi/video/7335203210262711598
Great video, thanks for sharing. I'm praying in Yeshua's name that medical freedom prevails in all of America, and that the homeopathic doctors get to keep their own regulatory board in AZ.
https://www.azleg.gov/legtext/56leg/2R/proposed/H.2739HENDRIX%20SE.pdf Here is the PDF of the proposed bill, which also includes restricting access of acupuncture, chelation, nutrition, chiropractic care, homeopathy, IVs, etc. because there would be no board of homeopathic doctors in AZ anymore. They have existed in AZ since the 1980's. If this bill gets passed, your only health options in AZ will be Big Pharma. If this passes in AZ, I can easily foresee other states following suit.
Done. Sent an email. I had no idea this was happening. Thanks for the heads up
You're very welcome. Thank you for bringing awareness to this bill--I definitely shared with all my AZ frens and we all took action. I'm not too great at reading the website outcomes, but it looks like it didn't pass. Do you have any updates/can decipher their website?
What is this even mean?
If I understood it correctly, it means Big Pharma or nothing.
But what does that even mean
If you have a private doctor that you pay cash to go to, how can they control that?
I have a natural path doctor that I go to, but I pay cash for it, so insurance is not involved at all. Does that affect those types of relationships. Or is it basically insurance based. Most of my doctors, I pay cash for - so I’ve already there. And I have been for years.
I don’t know how they can control them except try and take away their licenses. I guess We will have to see and pray it doesn’t pass. If it does, appeal it!
I’m always looking for alternatives so I don’t Use unnecessary drugs (Big Pharma).
Isn't homeopathy based on vaccinating people by giving them diluted samples of pathogens or chemicals, and it is possible that these samples are diluted so much that what is given to the patient actually has nothing in it?
