I own a business if I went under oath and told a judge. I paid for vacations using my corporate business card. And I was reimbursed in cash and I did not deposit the cash In my company account. I used my company money to pay off the credit cards I would be prosecuted for embezzlement, Tax evasion, Have my company shut down, Be put in prison and the key thrown away.

I used a corporate Amex once around y2k when I wanted to buy a new Suburban. I asked permission and they told me as long as I paid it that billing cycle they had zero issues. They even laughed when I told them why. I wanted the membership rewards points, and I paid the Amex in 3 days (once the charge went through). Needless to say - it was during the dot com boom.
The dealership didn't want to do it, but when I actually got in my car to leave they relented.
I hate salesmen. Similar thing here, went to buy an atv with $3k cash down. The salesman was full of glee. After we started paperwork the salesman came back and said they weren't able to accept that down-payment and they needed more. I said ok have a good day and started to leave. They stopped me and made up some story about how it actually is enough and they made a mistake. I shoulda just continued to leave.
They probably kept all or most of the cash, and took a loss on the sale, screwing there company and or IRS.
Could be. I should have been patient and found a good private sale. I wanted brand new though. But yeah ill never finance anything ever again. its a game you'll never win.
It's crazy that I have never bought brand new vehicles. Last one I got was an 08 Jetta for $500. The wife still driving it kek
