Gage mentioned Obama ended gain of function research. Not true. In the footnotes of the document, gain of function was authorized for National Security purposes. This is the second instance this week I have heard an authoritative trusted voice make this claim. Either these voices are not as informed as they should be or they are protecting the Obamas.
