I'm right there with ya. I recently got off SSRI meds after over two decades of abuse by the medical system. I got chewed up, spit out, and now I'm a wreck that has to rebuild his life and hope that the lasting side effects eventually fade.
I would be lost right now if it weren't for my loving mother and family. I know a lot of people are struggling with similar problems and they don't have a support system. I just wanted to reach out to these folks and let them know that they're not alone.
Things are rough right now, but we will get through this together! We were chosen for this battle, that's why we have the sharpest swords and the thickest armor.
I love all of you beautiful humans! God bless every single one of you!
Hello! I will be praying for your healing, Fren. There is such wonderful advice on this thread, and I thought I'd add to help you and so I can easily find this post again. To help repair the damage to your brain, I suggest you eat coconut butter or manna; the ketones in it will directly feed your brain. Taking probiotics will help greatly too. Here is two articles on the brain and Alzheimer's disease; both articles go into great depths about nutrition and precursors to neurotransmitters. It may give you an idea on how to go about healing your brain. There is a connection to the gut and brain, so please focus on your gut health. Avoid any grains, as most of them are filled with toxins and pesticides. A good diet to follow would be a ketosis diet or the Whole 30 elimination diet to figure out which foods affect you negatively. Eating eggs and beef liver (from organic sources, of course), is going to be key in helping you to feel better and thrive. Eggs have the main source of choline in our diet, and choline is so important to your health. Beef liver has the highest concentration of Vitamin A from a retinol source, and this is also very key in you health. It also has a bunch of B Vitamins and other vitamins you need to be able to change the neurotransmitter precursors into neurotransmitters. Be wary of your sources of water. Try to do an easy detox too; someone here had mentioned increasing glutathione levels, and that is key to reducing the toxins in your body. If you have great gut health, lower the amount of toxins you are exposed to, and have a great diet along with the awesome exercise plan you have already in place, you are going to thrive, my Fren. Best wishes of good health, prosperity, and peace to you. It is a really good company. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6394610/ P.S. Here's some easy secrets we use in our health: Another thing that might help you is red clover tea, which is a good and gentle blood cleanser. Rock rose tea (cistus incanus) is also a really good and gentle tea. Both are high in polyphenols and antioxidants that you may find beneficial. Do your research, of course. God bless you and your healing.
