I recall similar things were said about the BLM riots ("Blue states absolutely destroyed by BLM - Red states fine and in working order").

But all that happened was federal funds were used to repair the damage. Red states will fund blue states

Until the Red states exert their sovereignty and kick out all the Federal administrative agencies, including the IRS. Let's see how the Feds deal with Texas about border issue. You might be able to project what might happen from there.
