My husband works on a major military base. There was a power outage at the base today at the same time the cellular network was down. He said that a few of the guys he works with were thinking something serious was about to go down. Later in the afternoon, at the exact same time their phones started working again, the power kicked back on. He said the timing seemed too perfect. I have no idea if or how these two things were connected, but it was certainly an interesting coincidence if they weren't. It feels like today was a test run for something far bigger and more sinister.
