-In "The Creation of Adam" painting, God is depicted as a different being than the Jesus Christ we all acknowledge.
Jesus' last words on the cross: -Luke 23:34: And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." He's not talking to himself.
-Matthew 27:45-46: Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mark 15:33-34: And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
-Luke 23:45b-46: And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
You can't tell somebody they're wrong when Jesus is calling out to God in the Bible. You can't tell somebody they're wrong when the fresco painting is on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
Jesus was fully God in Heaven and fully man on earth.
Jesus wilfully submitted to God the father to die for our sins....
Cult religions deny Jesus' diety.... It's their hallmark because the only true Christian religion is the one Jesus, himself, founded.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus was the Word and he was and is God...
You believe whatever makes you happy.
Peace out....
None of that refutes anything. If anything it elongates my debate, especially your john 1:1 that is practically irrelevant to the matter at hand. So here since you want to be so arrogant about it, "The Bible is very clear on this subject," here's more for you.
Matthew 26:63-64 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
John 19:7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
Here even the jews bring it up. why would they bring it up? What's funny is if you read a little further from your verse, you get this
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And those are all from the King James version too. Yea peace out to you too.
