From 1999 to 2009 I worked 12-hour nights 6 days a week. I remember when Obama made President and how this one Black Woman at work started Twirking and dancing the day he won. She hollered so loud about 'Finally a black man whose gonna show you white people a thing or two," or something along that line. But I slept through a lot of things at that time right up to the day I finally got permanently laid off due to the failure of the banks and the automotive industry bail outs. In 2010 I went to college to learn something new, which didn't help my job search afterwards. I was 50 yo. I did remember seeing a group of Christian young people on our campus passing out brochures and asking people to be saved. And how one young girl in my class was complaining about them. I thought that to be odd.

Then I remember when Hillary started campaigning around 2014/2015 when she said she 'believed in women's rights for abortion up to Birth' and how 'I'm gonna shut down all the coal mines.' That was it for me. Especially the aborting of babies and the KILLING of those babies who were full term. That's when I asked my husband "When did this happen?" "When did they start aborting babies at 9 months?" "When was killing a baby believed to be okay?"

So then when I saw Trump for the first time and heard everything he said, I knew I had been sleeping through a lot of things I once thought sacred. So I knew I had to vote for him. I started opening my eyes to more news outlets and finding out things I would never have believed before. So around 2014/15 was when I really woke up to the truth. I voted for Trump twice and have never regretted it. I will be voting for him again this year if the good Lord is willing to allow me life to make it there.
