Some of those are incorrect. It's easy enough to use a personal card reader to take cards at garage sales, trade shows, flea markets and such now. They're not hard or expensive to get. You can basically get a free one from Square and just get charged a small percent for each purchase.
Tipping is practically a built in feature now for card purchases. I think I've heard that some places prefer tips included with card purchases as they're easier to track and divide up.

Using square at swap shows is expensive. Fuck paying those 2.5% fees. Tion in cash and the server doesn’t pay tax on the tip.
