WHen TNF first started this crap in 2005 (yes, even way back then the writing was ont he wall) I did expedition alpine climbing, and TNF, Mountain Hardware, Marmot were our "go to's". Clearly Polartec 100,200,300 fabric used by all of them-orig. made by now defunct? Malden Mills. We were all put off by the hi priced industry (needed $$$ for climbing gear) - so purchased yards and yards of expedition (300) weight Polartec fabric, and made our own. Your kids need it? Have them MAKE their own. Go to polartec.com/ready-to-roll.
Be self-sufficient. This is the way to kill woke, and perhaps start their own business.

I really appreciate all this. I was an outdoor enthusiast doing hiking, backpacking and ventured into climbing myself so those were the name brands. North Face was way too expensive so I purchased Mountain Hardware and Marmot. You are so smart to make your own.
