Once evil has taken hold, it is persistent and patient.

Just as the Taliban did, once they had moved in and imposed their will upon the helpless, weak and cowardly; they simply hid and waited until US Troops left, before once again raising up and raping, robbing and killing at will.

Thugs do not fear the police, jails, nor the courts; until they fear what their victims will do, they will persist.
