The OSS along with thye Red Cross and Vatican hid many nazi criminals with fictitious ID's and helped them escape to Argentina. in the 30s the biggest Nazi party was in Manhattan reportedly. Also in the 30s majotr Nazi parties came about also. All part of the DS's plans. The people around the world were lied to. The OSS aided with Operation Paperclip
They did not go away, they were relocated continuing the mission. And again the people are all being lied to again.
I agree, it spoiled their attempt to trigger a war the DS desperately needs.
