Rome GA and Mussolini…. Could this be why Trump chose this location for his rally? Has Rome (fasism) fallen?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
I find fascination with the locations DJT chooses to hold his rallies. Rome Ga was gifted a replica of a statue called “Romulus and Remus nursing from mother wolf” from Mussolini in 1929, the year of the stock market crash
Was trump pointing out that Rome (FASISM) has now fallen or will in September?
Thoughts?

Did you mean Fascism?
Ancient Rome, particularly during the time of the Roman Empire, is often cited as an example of authoritarian rule and centralized power, but it is not typically characterized as an example of fascism in the modern sense. Fascism as a political ideology emerged much later, in the early 20th century, notably in Italy under Benito Mussolini and in Germany under Adolf Hitler.
While there are some similarities between aspects of ancient Roman governance and certain elements of fascism, such as strong centralized authority, militarism, and a hierarchical social structure, there are also significant differences. Ancient Rome was a complex society with various forms of government over its long history, including periods of republicanism and imperial rule. The Roman Empire, especially under emperors like Augustus, exercised authoritarian control, but it also maintained elements of traditional Roman law and governance, as well as a degree of political participation for certain classes of citizens.
Fascism, on the other hand, is characterized by ultra-nationalism, totalitarianism, suppression of dissent, and often extreme racial or ethnic ideologies. It also typically involves the glorification of a single leader or party. While ancient Rome certainly had elements of authoritarianism, it did not espouse the same ideological foundations or methods of governance as modern fascism.
In summary, while there are certain parallels between aspects of ancient Roman governance and fascism, it is not accurate to categorize ancient Rome as an example of fascism as it is understood in the contemporary context.
Like Roman Citizens above everyone else , Beard & circuses to quell the masses ?
" The fasces is an Italian symbol that had its origin in the Etruscan civilization and was passed on to ancient Rome, where it symbolized a Roman king's power to punish his subjects,"
Substituting Corporate ownership of most of the means of production with the oligarchy in ancient Rome, a case can be made for Fascism by any other name being as vile.
Vile wasn't the standard, the definition of a particular word was.
