Do you think maybe this is because the public exposed smart meters for what they really are, so now they are taking it inhouse to do it without our permission? I simply don't trust things like this at all.

We went thru the smart meters and then they came again about 7 months ago and changed them again. Now I pick up a strange WiFi network every once in a while. Been meaning to check the innerwebs for a faraday wrap to cut it off from my house. BTW...it's definitely not a neighbor or anything like that, our closest neighbor is a mile away as the crow flies.
