I would write a complaint to a review board. It's very effective to do that. I have done that to companies and you know what, they responded right away. Google Review, Trustpilot, BBB all work.

You are right..carefully crafted letters DO work, they simply need to be directed to the top or as close as you can get to the top. Shit flows down hill and anything coming out of the top offices get priority.
