I still hear the term.

I've noticed a frequent side effect of a scratchy throat when exposed to the vaxed in enclosed spaces (office, stores), likely from shedding. Little gargle of brandy or quick treatment of chlorine dioxide and it's gone.

I figure long covid was something they coined to cover the long term side effects of constantly producing the spike protein.
