After the recent "Bloodbath" hoax, which is just the latest in a long list of media fake "news" stories, is anyone surprised that this industry is dying and layoffs continue?
These people have zero credibility and they can't seem to stop the tailspin by changing their business model. They just keep making up fake news and thinking somehow it is going to change. Weird.
I agree with re-instated, but why do we have to do that in the first place? Shouldn't journalism and news channels be credible in the first place? We shouldn't even need the Smith-Mundt Act, right?
Go back to the constitution, I mean. No more needing a law just to prevent the news channel, government, from lying. If they lie, they can suffer the consequences.
I think people are now awake enough to research. I HOPE.
If they see that USA Inc is responsible for the sham governments we have endured since 1878 that showed "tolerence" for 'free speach' and such BUT have always hammered criticism of the system, then yes, research is vital-the system has not destroyed old copies of books that showed how the original Republic was set up (no Farenheit 451 here, thank God). now we just have to get the normies to dedicate the passion they put out for their sports teams for a dedication that the united states of America is worth saving..
The result we have today is the result of a multi-factorial problem.
I believe, surprisingly, it started with a Fox News station in Florida that was taken to court because they tried to pass opinion as fact/news and didn’t make a point to distinguish. Under Bush, a change was made that took away the merit of the case. This then made it possible for opinion to legally be pushed as fact.
Later, Obama repealed the Smith-Mundt Act and made it possible for our government agencies to use propaganda on the citizens of the U.S., something they had been doing to other countries for decades.
I used to have the links that supported this but I’m taking care of work and running around.
I’ll try to find it later unless someone has a correction for me.
I remember being attacked on both the Bush and Obama occurrences.

Trump and Putin are NOT THE BOOGIE MEN
We understand that now.
Eric Holder talking about guns and the need to brainwash people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVt9bwHfrdU
Wow, they tell you clear as day. People just need to listen to what they said. Now, Obama was a little different.
Trump should have immediately gotten rid of the smith mundt act when in office.

We will get rid of it. Now that we are awake. Can you imagine 4 years ago, how blind we were? It's good he kept that there to wake up people.
I did. I want to say we shouldn't even need such an act to hold those media honest. It's incredible that we need something like that.
Boycott those dishonest ones until they are out of business. LOL
An act that prevented propaganda to be used is bad??? I don't think institutional lying is covered by the 1st Amendment...

Amen. I agree.
Corrupt Congress passed this.
Of course.
(Obama legalized the use of propaganda on American citizens )
She is a brave soul to come out and tell us.

Thanks for the background. Good thing I don't watch the black box much.
