In the second paragraph it says that 3% of people who had COVID had moderate to severe ongoing symptoms (after-effects) a year after infection. It seems to me (after reading the first two paragraphs, that nobody is saying there’s no such thing as “long COVID.” The point is that “COVID after-effects” are not any more common than those who have had other respiratory viruses.
