I tried to join this gym a couple years back and they wouldn't take my card or cash. Homo behind the counter said, "we're going cashless." I asked if I could just hand him my debit card and he said, "oh well we will need that in case you get anything from the snack bar." I said then just use the same card for my membership! They wouldn't do it. So I told them I'm not going to participate in their experiment.
