I wish he had conducted follow ups with people who displayed MAC addresses to see if the same patients had the same digits later.

You want to watch this. Mexican scientist and it's in Spanish with caption. It was so incredible I even took this to my friend who knows Spanish to make sure this is all translate correctly. I found it on youtube before and it was taken down.
