Maybe. When he met with Trump they sent that "lawyer" (handler?) to be with him the whole time.

Maybe the "lawyer" was to ensure Jack wouldn't say "Trump, I don't want to be a disgusting traitor, but I am a blackmailed pedophile! Help me out of this mess!"
