We've rewritten the definitions for racism, Nazi, phobia, freedom of speech, hate, and genocide.
Why not "bloodbath"? Controlling the language is key to controlling people and their minds and attitudes towards things.
Maybe just me, but I don't really see much difference between "ruthless slaughter of a great number of people" and "situation in which many people are killed in a violent manner."
They softened it a little, taking out "ruthless slaughter". What's the upshot?
EDIT: Clearly this question deserves downvotes LOL :)
It's the "quote" they included as part of the definition. It clearly alludes to the lie they are perpetuating about President Trump and the Jan 6 protest.
