Actually it was the fictional Kyiv Opera House, and the filming location for the opera house in question was actually the Tallinna Linnahall, which is an olympic ampitheater in Estonia. The only mention of Moscow is the fact that Andrei Sator is "on the outs with Moscow". If you're gonna do the predictive programming angle, get your facts right.
