Years ago, a non-profit I worked for used a loophole to opt out of Social Security. It was awesome, until they closed that loophole a couple of years later. If we had been able to keep doing it, I would now have 4 times the money in the bank every month compared to Social Security. And I wouldn't have had to touch the balance. My kids could inherit it.
