am still not a fan of this particular line up of justices, they seem to rule against the constitution and the betterment of the people time and again. am well aware of the fact soooo many cases are appealed to the court. in this case, the man was not convicted of a crime that would disqualify him from serving, imo. he was convicted of a misdemeanor of trespassing in a restricted area, not of insurrection. if we are able to assert our political beliefs above what an actual conviction is, then maybe any legislator or senator that received a traffic ticket for any reason can be deemed a danger to themselves and others and therefore not able to hold office either. (an extreme hypothetical, I hope you get the message)
