I have always been one that said BUY AMERICAN but now a days, I think any food product needs to come from a foreign source unless it is from your neighborhood farmer/rancher!
Cheese is made with concentrated milk, meant to grow a calf. It is not and has never been a healthy choice. It messes with our brain juices (serotonin and others) and can be like a drug to give up. I know many believe milk and cheese and bacon is ‘good’ for you but the industries have brainwashed so many. Charlie Freak explains all this perfectly. I have actually seen cheese created using very rudiment technique of first churning into buttermilk and then aged. Don't believe it's bad but then, if they are doing crap like this, then I am not buying it.
Would be nice to have a list of brands. I would kind of expect/hope it to be the big brands, that some of the smaller cheeses aren't. Shoot though, in this world probably the smaller cheese companies are all a subsidairy. It's hard to hope, and yes, pun intended.
