EV's would become competitive when they ditch the batteries and switch to fuel cells. Until then, they are significantly inferior to standard ICE vehicles.

Laws, regulations and other bullshit that try to force people to buy a hugely inferior product are destined to fail, hard, one way or another.

Also, the states doing that stupid shit to themselves deserve what they get. It will be fun to watch, from a safe distance.
