No true-blue Second Amendment advocate would buy into this scheme, which amounts to a backdoor trap to register/verify the ownership and whereabouts of all firearms

There was that image that went around in November where a grill shut down for a software update and the guy who took it said it ruined his Thanksgiving. Imagine your home gets broken into at 2am and your gun won't activate for the same reason.
