Wouldn't GW Bush also be in exactly the same boat, having also received one of those special letters? Is he suddenly politically active? Last I saw him he seemed pretty relaxed and jovial throwing out the first pitch of the World Series. Not at all like someone who was worried about the direction of things or fighting for his life.
