This is certainly a significant story, but I question the assertion that Vista's brands account for 90% of American ammo. I find it extremely unlikely that's the case given the number of ammunition manufacturers here in the states that are not owned by Vista.

The company is being pursued by two different companies, one is Czech and the other is MNC Capital which is a Dallas based capital investment firm.

I can think of worse countries to purchase this company than Czechoslovakia and there's very little information on MNC Capital, though in general principle I'd prefer to see Vista remain in American hands.

What is concerning is that it appears that between this Czech company owning Fiocci and purchasing Vista, they would own a majority of the primer manufacturing in the world. As to what % that majority is, I'm not sure.

Bottom line, while I do agree this is a significant story, based on available information it's extremely unclear what the preferred outcome is.

The 90% came from Ted Nugents show, he was asking for help on the issue to stop the foreign take over.
