There was another bridge. Last year, had a huge fire under it and had to be shut down. I forget where; I want to say LA area.
That one was Philly. 3/30/17 bridge collapse Atlanta fire started on state owned equip set by three people all charges dropped because it was the states fault. Taxpayers pay.
LA also:

You struck my memory by posting this. I didn't hear about the fire you shared and I was like there's no way this happened that short time ago. I was having a Mandela Effect moment with my memories, lol. Because I lived out there for a time and I remember a huge fire around I-10 years ago and I did not live there in 2023, I was getting myself confused. I had to go searching. There has to be something more to that area of downtown Los Angeles than we realize. There have been a number of huge fires.
The fire I remember in 2014. - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-california-fire/los-angeles-freeways-jammed-after-huge-construction-site-fire-idUSKBN0JM1BS20141208/
Another fire in 2020 again along I-10 not far from the 2023 one : https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/fire-burns-building-in-historic-south-central/2480370/
Random thoughts off the top.
Some people just like fire. MC900 foot Jesus - City Sleeps.
Insurance money? Cover a crime?
If you wanted to dispose of something. China had a YUGE fire at an Consulate in Texas to burn all the 2020 ballots they had printed.
