Our second child will be arriving in 45 minutes! This has been a tough pregnancy for my Wife, so please be lifting us up in prayer fellow Pedes! God bless y’all!

My 1st child is 3 weeks old! Birthed in a hospital and the pressure for the Hepatitis B vaccine, Vitamin K shot, and Erythromycin in eyes was immense

Hepatitis B - 225mcg aluminum on day of birth w.t.f.
Vitamin K - Chance of brain bleed 0.006%-0.01% in different studies (nearly non-existent), clogs baby stem cells from reaching injured areas of the body during birth (god made us perfect), and some contain benzyl alcohol which further strains the liver and amplifies baby jaundice (liver-related)
Erythromycin paste - blurs baby's vision (2-10 inches), often times affecting newborn's ability to latch for first feed. Not sure if it affects good bacteria of the eyes, and of pink eye cases, one study found 12% are actually caused by the ointment itself, through a chemical burn.
