Green agenda BS aside, yes, the fashion industry is responsible for the dumping of a ton of pollutants and waste of drinkable water. It can be done in a more efficient way, and still look good, but [they] would want us all wearing the grey nylon jumpsuits while they parade around in with baby seal gloves and snow fox scarves.
And most clothes made are outsourced to Asia for cheap labor and cheap synthetic material.
Fast fashion is also gotten way out of hand. A good pair of jeans or clothes used to last you years or even decades. Now people throw away clothes after wearing them once or twice... It's fuckn insane
